Reading (Gillett) - Students will be presenting book reports in class this week. We will then resume reading several short stories and poems in Unit 1 "Personal Best." Students will have vocabulary and study questions with the continuation of this unit.

Religion (Nittler) - The class will be studying the Exodus in Chapter 5.
English/Writing (Kilgore) - Grammar assignment due Tuesday. Grammar Quiz WEDNESDAY.
We will also begin to search for topics for term paper

Social Studies (Nittler) -We will begin Chapter 4 on Ancient Egypt this week.

Art (Smith) - Making three dimensional art by constructing sculptures out of the letters in each students name.
Music (Barratt) - We are practicing and getting ready for the Fall Concert - Thursday, October 16th.
